Mustangs - the heart of muscle cars

Mustangs have a history that dates back to 1964 when the first Mustang was produced in a plant in Dearborn, Michigan and were introduced publicly at New York’s World’s Fair in the same year. No one knew that this car would go on to create a history of its own that was going to be written in golden words in the automobile industry. This car had a huge hand in making muscle cars more of a phenomenon than just a car. Owning a Mustang became a matter or pride with people. And Mustang is still one of the best muscle car to this date.

The Ford Mustang has seen several modifications throughout its existence of 40 years and many special editions had also been launched to mark mustang’s achievements. Other than the company’s transformed versions there are many companies that offer the services of third party transformations for your Mustangs and convert this muscles car as per your needs and demands.

The Problems and Pros of Luxury Cars

Let’s face it – the days of inexpensive gas are long gone. In fact, the chances of those days returning are slim to none. With the price of fuel rising daily and no end in sight for the slipping economy, people are starting to reconsider the vehicles that they find themselves driving on a daily basis. Some people are carpooling; others are taking advantage of public transportation. Still, others are reluctant to give up their freedom of driving in their own vehicles and being able to maintain their independence. I can’t say that I blame them. It used to be that the more money you spent when purchasing your car, the more money that you would be spending at the pumps as well. Luxury cars aren’t cheap to purchase and they certainly aren’t saving you any dollars at the gas pumps. However, luxury cars have come a long way. You don’t have to toss quite a bit as much money out the window at the gas pumps anymore. Sure, your luxury cars may consume more fuel than the economic car driving behind you, but, with some common sense, you may find yourself not having to spend as much of a fortune as you once were.

Rat Rods- Cars and Trucks Transformed

This is a phrase that is being thrown and used mostly on classic cars and on e bay. It is a term that is used generally to describe hot rods. Better definitions of rat rods that can help you understand this term easily. Rat rods as per the purists consideration is that they are the segment of American cars that were pre-1949 and were finished in such a manner, to look like it has been fabricated by a 1940’s hot rod enthusiast. There is hardly any chrome work and the interiors are left as it is, with absence of body paint or flat black finish.

Although a general definition on which the people agree would be any well used looking American car or truck (mini vans not included). The best part about the rat rods is that you get your hands on the customization of the old car and bring on your imagination and skill to transform that old car of the pre-1949 era which most of the owners hold, considering its great value. You get a chance to share your skills with the experienced lot, who own such cars while you are transforming your own into a new one.

Super Exotic Sports Cars - What You Should Know, Before Spending Any Money!

Before we start, let’s define the term ’super exotic sports car’. Sports cars, by definition are borderline racing cars; boasting powerful performance and sleek looks. Their prestige makes them expensive, and thus the domain of a select few. With reference to sports cars, the term “exotic” refers to vehicles produced in very limited numbers. This of course increases their exclusivity and by virtue of this, their value. Exotic sports cars will, in all likelihood, be built by smaller manufacturers or perhaps the super high-end vehicles will be created by some of the better-known car companies outside of the United States, as exclusive models.

Many exotic sports cars are the stuff of legend. The world’s fastest car, the McLaren F1, for instance is a well-known exotic. Although only around one hundred F1s were produced and the manufacturer is not a household name (outside of the Grand Prix circuits of course), the McLarens are coveted sports cars. All exotic sports cars are highly sought after and, as status symbols, are second to none in the sports car world.

But, assuming that you can afford it, is an exotic sports car for you?

GMC Hedging a Safe Bet with its New Acadia

You know GMC has high hopes for its first crossover, the Acadia – and an indication of who it thinks will buy it – when a four-page cardboard newsletter ad appeared in Sports Illustrated in September 2008.

The crossover sport utility vehicle will share the new GM Lambda platform with the Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook, and is GMC’s first venture into unibody, front-wheel passenger and crossover vehicles.

Initial industry and consumer reviews have been solid, especially in terms of safety. In fall 2008 the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recognized the Acadia with the highest five-star ranking for front, side and rear impacts.

Determining how much Auto Insurance Coverage you Need

The Three Basic parts to an Auto insurance Policy

1: Other Party:

Auto Insurance Bodily Injury (BI) Liability and Property Damage (PD) coverage is Legally required in most states today. (BI & PD) Most people understand that they need BI & PD, but they have no idea how to determine how much coverage they need.

Try this simple question: What if your car was involved in an auto accident tonight where heaven forbid, someone else was injured or killed? Remember, everything you own is in the back seat of the car with you and is at risk in a lawsuit! So, what do you think their family would sue you for? $15,000? $25,000? $100,000 or even maybe a Million dollars! Where would you get the money to pay them?

Perhaps the Equity in your Home would help? How about your Savings and/or Investments? You could even have up to 25% of your wages attached to pay the award in most states! Are you prepared to sacrifice everything you own to pay an award due to this accident? If not, read on for how to choose the auto insurance coverage you need.

Great Room Goes From 0 to 60 in Under 3 Days

An impromptu get-together for 60 people inspired me to get cracking on Christmas decorating and a great room facelift all at the same time. With three days to put it all together I had to move fast. A quick search on the internet provided me with all of the Christmas Decoration Ideas I needed. I found fabulous pictures and ideas for decorating inside and out with wreaths, boughs and the all-important Christmas tree. I chose to go glam with lots of sparkle and a bold turquoise, silver and gold color scheme. My tree was whipped together to emulate this stunning specimen!

Gorgeous Turquoise Christmas Tree

The three-day time limit really put the pressure on, but it got me motivated to make some changes that had been on the to-do list for months. The arrangement of furniture was all wrong. I made excellent use of some Living Room Decorating Ideas to improve the flow between the two major components of our great room - the kitchen and family/living room. By rearranging the furniture I was able to open up the space even more, yet still use the fireplace as a focal point. I also hung several large mirrors that had been sitting around. This too helped make the space feel larger. De-cluttering the entire space made a huge impact.

Without the inspiration the internet (and a short time frame) provided I never would have been able to pull the whole thing off. As it turned out the party was a huge success and I received numerous compliments on the house and the decorations.
